      Introduce to the technical background of Nitrogen filling

      Fumigants used in cereal and oil storage are further restricted and prohibited by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations at the beginning of 21st century. It recommends strongly regulating the gas composition in the cereal stack (air-conditioning grain storage) to change the breathing environment of pests and mildew and to reduce the oxygen breath of the cereal itself, in order to get the cereal stored safely and ageing slowly, to achieve green grain storage.

      As people are getting better and better life, they are taking seriously the healthy performance of their food. The wide application of the grain storage equipment with nitrogen has fully met the needs of the green food desired by people, which are forming a new technology that is first selected for the green grain storage in our country.  

      Weiton Group has launched a series of nitrogen producing systems for green grain storage. The nitrogen generated with desired purity, pressure, temperature and flowrate is transported into the granary, and the nitrogen will uniformly diffuse in the cereal stack through the distributing pipes. When the concentration of nitrogen is increasing and maintained for a period of time, the living environment of pests and mildew in the granary will be destroyed, and then the pests will be choked to death, and the physiological breath of the cereal will be inhibited also and its ageing will be postponed. The quality of the cereal stored will be guaranteed.

      Nitrogen producing system is operated with three processes: air compression, air purification, nitrogen-oxygen separation and conveyance. 

      The air is compressed to 7.0 - 8.0 bar with a compressor, and flows through a purification system, three-stage filters, a refrigerating dryer and an activated carbon oil remover, where water, oil, dust and other impurity will be removed from the compressed air, which supplies the safe gas to the main system.
      The compressed air flows into two adsorbent towers in the main system. The towers are filled with high-performance carbon molecular sieve specially for adsorbing oxygen. The PSA process, adsorption by pressurization and desorption by depressurization, is performed alternately in the two towers by automatically switching the valves, according to the different adsorption selectivity of nitrogen and oxygen in air at pressure. Oxygen is adsorbed in pressurization by the molecular sieve while nitrogen passes through the tower and is collected and conveyed. After adsorbing saturation, adsorption in pressurization is automatically shifted to another tower, and this tower is subjected to depressurizing to exhaust the oxygen adsorbed. And herein to-and-fro nitrogen is produced continuously.


      Standard configuration:

      1. Set cold-hot start, and the system will reach steady operation in a few minutes after starting.

      2. With New energy-saving technology, energy consumption is only 75% of the similar products.

      3. Gaseous distributors within the adsorbent tower raise the utility of the molecular sieve and reduce the impact of the molecular sieve bed;

      4. Ensure most effectively packing the molecular sieve with combination method.

      5. Cylinder pressing makes the packed solid sinking visible. The first pressing on the molecular sieve bed yields warning, and the second pressing causes self-locking, to prevent the molecular sieve from pulverizing and bleeding, and to make the system safer and more reliable.

      6. Detect nitrogen purity on line, and warn automatically if the gas is of disqualification.

      7. The products with fixed and movable structure can be used in different zones of the granary.

      8.The sledge block design is convenient for transportation and installation.

       

      Additional intelligent configuration:

      1.    Provide a PC program conveniently for transmission and storage of real-time operating data;

      2.    Rs485 communication. Real-time observation can be done in remote offices;

      3.    Parameters of flowrate, purity, booting time, etc. are displayed digitally. Cues for instrument calibration;

      4.    Dynamic process is displayed;

      5.    Multi-functional alarm (purity, fault, maintenance, etc.);

      6.    Multi-level password protection (level of operator/director/manager), avoids misoperation;

      7.    Paper-free analog recorder, curve analysis of operating parameters, storage of ten thousands data on site
